well if u ask bayern fans,management they`ll say he was..beckenbaur mentioned in 2011 every player developed well in the club except gomez..gomez himself too admitted he is not swift,fact is he did score goals yes,but he also sqaundered chances,sitters as well.. i personally dont think he was a good striker

So Thiago in his wisdom has moved to the one of the few clubs with greater competition for Midfield places than Barca.

Will be interesting to see how Bayern line up. Certainly can not see Thiago making his way into the starting XI. The midfield HAS to be Schweini, Kroos and Martinez. Thiago will be a squad player coming in when of those guys needs a rest, whereas at Barca given the assurances he was seeking you’d think he almost certainly would have been gradually taking Xavis role sosee ing a lot more first team football. Cant see the logic from his point of view, aside from the Pep factor. And for Pep he is just a luxury item. Further stifling good young prospects like Emre Can whos path to the first team has yet more hurdles now.
