For one, they are not militarily comparable to Pakistan, where Pakistan is a much more militarily competent nation. For two, they have no friends in the region and they are not gonna go around making yet another enemy for no clear gains. For three, you are correct that Iran has no reason to be friendly with pakistan and infact, has been consistently the ONLY Islamic nation that has backed India in the Islamic Conference. Iran won't stir without us taking the brunt of the initiative. If that ever happened, Iranians would happily aid us in destruction of Pakistan and draw a mutual border that is favourable to us both.

I don't want destruction of pakistan, I want there army to let the civilian government do the governing. Right now a massive portion of Pakistan economy is one big Military Industrial complex, one of the world's biggest, hence they to need keep the fear of India played 24/7. The Pak Army own everything from small businesses to big businesses. For example the transportation of NATO supplies from Karachi is massive earner for them. They have banned the use of private trucks or railways, and use their military trucks.

Simple :icflove: If you seriously think US can't blow up your nation in the blink of an eye, you are deluded. Already USA strikes people with total impunity in Pakistan with nothing anyone in Pakistan can do. We could blow you up in the blink of an eye too, but unlike the US, we do not have the luxury of doing it from 10,000 miles away and would have to sacrifice a lot more than them. Thats the main reason we havn't blown you up yet.
