Was watching the highlits of yesterday's match . After a long time we are havin such an enthusiatic crowd for cricket match . BCCI should start orgainizing more and more matches at the non regular venues like this B->

Obviously' date=' they were excited.[/quote'] But In 2011 they hosted 6 IPL matches also I remember one of the India Pak matches held in Kochi where 80,000 people packed .[Capacity was more before they installed bucket seats] And for one of the football matches more than 1Lakh people turned up

Good move by BCCI to keep these matches in tier 2/3 cities. Last time India vs England didn't get good crowds.

It looked like one of those Sharjah ODI's in the 90s - very good atmosphere.

I expect Ranchi to be louder than this. First match there, hometown of in-form captain, man its gonna be big!

Nah, the Kochi stadium is bigger and the way it is built the sound comes out louder too. Ranchi has got Grass Banks and all, so is more open.
