ExpressPace Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Well done PCB.Totally support them for this.BCB tried to play the dirty game else no way that Joker Kamal would be ICC VP.I know no team can tour Pakistan but then why did BCB commit? Zaka Ashraf seems to be a man with some brains. Finally a sensible post. Pakistani players get to play in Big Bash, Slpl, English county which is enough for them. At least the good quality cricket is played in those leagues unlike the minnow BPL league where player like Imran Nazir are the second most expensive. :giggle: Hooper denies interest in Bangla coaching job "I am not interested. I am happy at Woodville." :hehe:
King Khan Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Common BD spectators seems showing their muslim brotherhood love for Pakistani performers and decides not to apper, not even to support local Dhaka Gladiator side! Stadium aint even half full in the opening match, so pathetic for BPL.

zakk Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 hope this year BPL will be more successful than last year
King Khan Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 What bs comment ...... When will u guys learn to stop bringing race and religion in everything If you cant give any explanation, why not just dont bother my comment. btw you can report to mod in ICF against me. I wonder what ground you could possibly have against my comment/opinion. BD spectators always relates themselves with their color & race; thats why they had success in 1st season with lots of Pakistanis there. But this season, I'm very doubtful.

BD spectators always relates themselves with their color & race; thats why they had success in 1st season with lots of Pakistanis there. But this season, I'm very doubtful. here is my response... Khulna RB team last year had no Pak players and still had the same support. People go to ground to watch BD players play alongside internationals. I have never heard anyone being interested in Pak T20 leagues.... This year the excitement is a little less than the first edition and thats understandable. however u will get capacity crowd outside dhaka.... Historically we have been enemies and may be not so much now....
jairamesh Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Good for BPL. Paki's have history of fixing, cheating, and drug taking. Them staying away will solve 99% match fixing issues. BPL is still bigger than the puny Paki t20 league.
King Khan Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 kokhono dekhsen kuttar lej soja? :haha: thats exactly should be my comment on bd fans. Their tail needs to straight and focused on their own players and stop begging performers from India/Pakistan. I'm glad this Pak saga happened in BPL and now Bangladeshi fans will have a learning how/who to cheer for and for who not to. Such tamasha t20 leagues like slpl/bpl wont help them gain much but will create more motivational problem in them. Check out how Shakib got vocal about non-payment and 100% on-field effort threat with it, gives you an idea how money has changed the cricketer's motivation these days. Anyway I got a well wish for BPL success. btw Truth always hurts, if you dont know how to digest it.

You are one guy whos agenda is clearly race/religion driven... you should be the last person to judge others... Bangladeshi fans cheers for all teams when not playing against Bangladesh. You can check the the history starting with the first Mini world cup to Last world cup (in all games not involving Bangladesh)...

riasat Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 By the way' date=' why is the excitement in Dhaka below par?[/quote'] Because Dhaka gets almost all the international cricket that is being played in Bangladesh. So the Dhakaites are more used to a higher standard of cricket than league matches. First edition got more crowd because of the "New" factor... The crowd was still decent tbh.
Texy Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Tournament usually starts out slow but probably will gather pace later. Pakistanis emphatically believes BPL and Bangladesh cricket is nothing without the helping hand of Pakistan. I BPL proves the point that they do not need PCB to make their own tournament successful.

Ameen to that.. In fact they shouldn't given chance to appear in IPL/BPL in very first place. I also wish they never get that 2nd chance anymore.

Vivek.S.123 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Dont worry BanBros, we Indians are with you. We will gladly love Shakib and Tamim making millions at IPL. We wont let pakis play IPL, No IPL = No Money :--D
Phasht Bowler Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Kamal ****ed both the bcb and pcb with his slickness. Now he's sitting at his office enjoying this drama serial. He got what he wanted and now he doesnt give two shits about this. But good luck to BPL and without indians and now pakis, bpl is really gonna suffer. But hoping the tigers cubs get the experience they need. And why dont the mods.merge this with my bpl.2013 thread?? please dont use word 'pakis' again, its offensive to us pakistanis how would you feel if use words like Bangies Bongies etc?
