His resilience and character strength was indisputable. I've read that he had once slapped a British professor in Calcutta who had used filthy language against India and Indians. When Hitler started lecturing Bose on politics Bose had replied, "I have not come here to learn politics from you,that I had learned in college life".Saying that in front of a man who was the most powerful man in the world at that time required immense strength of character. Netaji's character strength was redefined when he chose to resign from Congress even after winning victory over Gandhi's candidate Pattabhi Sitaramayya. What's even more impressing was how he was able to convince Hitler to give him the Indians that hitler's army had defeated. :hatsoff:

Didn't they rule south Tamil nadu for 1000s of years?
