Sandeep99 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Not that much movement so far. Grass was deceiving a bit and the bowlers haven't been able to extract anything great. Maybe the bowlers are not able to extract anything from the surface?
saneindian Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 135, 134, 132, -, 135, 132- Dhawal's 4th over- good consistent speeds ROI batsmen settling down
Cevno Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Possible. Would have been a very good match if ROI team was selected correctly and ZAK/Agarkar were fit.
rkt.india Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Not that much movement so far. Grass was deceiving a bit and the bowlers haven't been able to extract anything great. This is not the same pitch of Ranji final. It will be a flat track after lunch.
rkt.india Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Maybe the bowlers are not able to extract anything from the surface? grass at Wankhede can be deceiving. We have seen grass all season here but it was only in the final that bowlers could get anything off that and it is not the same pitch on which Ranji final was played, might be the pitch used in Baroda vs Mumbai match.
saneindian Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Aakash Chopra ✔ @cricketaakash Both Dhawal & Javed bowling at least a foot short..perhaps, waiting for the SG Test ball get a little old, for thats when it starts swinging
Cevno Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Javed Khan can't find any sort of consistency with lengths and even lines.
Sandeep99 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Aakash Chopra ✔ @cricketaakash Both Dhawal & Javed bowling at least a foot short..perhaps, waiting for the SG Test ball get a little old, for thats when it starts swinging Would love to see Dhawal rip through this overrated ROI line up with outswingers...the only way Indian team selections can come to scrutiny
Cevno Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Aakash also said this is a very average bowling attack from Mumbai.
Cevno Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Mumbai should have prepared a turning track and played Abdullah, Harmeet etc..
saneindian Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Back to back 4s for Dhawan, good straight drives...ominous signs for Mumbai
Sandeep99 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Shikhar Dhawan can go beserk when he settles! Mumbai have to stop him
Sandeep99 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Good length Dhawal..now for the consistency!
Cevno Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Yeh, Thakur kya Quota selection hain ? :giggle:
Sandeep99 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Hey...my comment got published in Cricinfo!! Sandeep: "@Yash... On the flip side, if they do well, ahem" :yay:

saneindian Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 That Tendulkar Fan is at Wankhede too with a flag and conch. The first edge of the day. Decent bounce for spinners.
