Tiwary will be worse if he starts opening.

Tiwary will be worse if he starts opening. I am not saying Vijay is a great batsman, but Tiwary for me is even worse.

Tiwary will be worse if he starts opening.[/quote'] what about team strength ? rest of batting line up ? when he was in form tiwary was scoring all the runs when his team was even down and in ranji opening is easy position..this year was different but generally on flat tracks ,new ball and tundlers bowling can u ask for anything more?

Tiwary is better for me. But both are FTB's to an extent.

But both are FTB's to an extent. yes i agree but tiwary atleast has temperament going for him and at number 6 he can fight out and score crucial runs even away from home and if conditions suit him he makes it counts.. vs eengland he could have done so much better job at number 6!

Vijay has a test 100 against Australia against a very decent bowling attack. Moreover, Vijay and Tiwary are playing for different position. Rahane should be ahead of Tiwary for #6.
