There's a separate thread for discussing the corruption.

we (asians) needs to make pitches like aus' date='eng,sa in our domestic, if cant then send our domestic teams to play in aus, eng,sa more, thn our national teams :icflove:[/quote'] changing the pitches would be the 1st thing, they don't have to be full of grass (becoz that's just a cop out by likes SA and Eng) but should provide enough to encourage pacers to bowl fast and make the batsmen work on their technique. my preference would be for all pitches to be like Wankhede, where there is good bounce and carry, and good bounce and turn for spinners, it is ideal pitchl to produce an all-round batsman.

It has good bounce and carry by Indian standards. Its nowhere comparable to pitches in SA or England. Batsmen who have played only in Mumbai will be all at sea in SA and England. Even great batsmen from India like Sachin, Dravid struggled early on when they traveled overseas because of lack of exposure to these conditions. Young cricketers like Kohli, Pujara, Rohit will most probably also struggle when we play there. Only alternative is to prepare wickets like Wanderers, Perth at home and practice a lot or play in county cricket. I dont see either happening right now, so brace yourself for more whitewashes overseas.
