^ Can you spell the last name of Viru correctly? And this surely was disgusting by Mahila! I can imagine both him and Sanga crying profusely if someone took this much of time for bowling the last ball, leave alone being FO'ed.

Maxwell had all the reason to be angry there. You can't take so long. Moreover, the way the SL fielders were behaving after the match ended was childish. It took Bailey to settle them down. And I am talking about how your superstars would have behaved in the media. BTW, nice to know that you have finally learnt to pronounce Sehwag.

we know very well what would have happened if india were the bowling side. "yes maxwell your highness, delivery coming up right away" :cantstop: bunch of pussies. couldn't even go ahead with the mankading appeal :hysterical:

SLs are knows cheats of the game. Worst thing is their holier than thou attitude. What kind of ragged ****s start bowling no-balls and wides to deny opposition players milestone. Then cheat at the toss, whinga is a disgrace for the kind of caught behinds he appeals for.

Hahaha.... we all know the team which was crying against the Match referee rather than the umpires for abandoning a match just about 15 days back... :haha::haha: But maybe they were right , the umpires ensured they didnt lose the series... Their highest score in the entire series was less than the target that day :--D:--D

couldn't have happened to two deserving teams who have continuously made a mockery of the notion of spirit of cricket over the years. and maxwell looks like another prat churned out by australia.

I don't think it was Maxwell's job to ask SL to get on with the game, the umpires are up there to do that. Maxwell walked up to the SL players and apologized after the game. That said, SL player including Mahela and Sangakkara do carry a "holier than thou" attitude on their sleeve. Here are some instances from Jayawardene (the less said about Sangakkara the better) -v0JSSORlXo Here is once again in the WC 2011, check how even the commentators (I guess Simon Doull and Danny Morisson) even see it's clearly OUT but Mahela stands his ground. Even Ross Taylor can't believe it and Mahela is smiling like a cheshire cat! OxOiqYDmqas Later on he goes on to add that there were doubts on this catch, quite ridiculous. V5DQATn9jJ4 I can post other incidents where Mahela talks about the "spirt of the game" including the Thirimanne run out during the CB series 2011/12, Muralitharan run out in NZ (2006 I guess?) etc. but I will stop here and let the reader get the gist.

Surely Lady should be fined for that kind of language. Good on maxwell for apologising.
