Our slip fielding in tests has gone down as expected with retirements of Laxman,Dravid.Dhoni seems to enjoy Rotating slip fielders which has proved to be stupid. My Slip Fielders would be- Fast Bowling 1st slip-Pujara 2nd slip-Tendulkar 3rd slip-Kohli/sehwag Gully-Sehwag {He has taken some good catches at gully and his not bending down actually helps him here all though in india we do not have gully most times. Spin bowling- 1st slip-Pujara Pujara is good at bat pad but the injury risk + sehwag who cannot bend down makes me go for him .What are ur options.

There are only two slip fielders i've seen in my time that i can't recollect dropping a catch- Mark Taylor and Mark Waugh. Everyone else has dropped catches at slips. Having said that, our #1 slipper right now, by a significant margin, is Sehwag.

Its not about dropping catches its about technique, concentration which shewag lacks nowadays. He gets up too early and does not even bend down low enough on this slow, low pitches.Pujara should be 1st slip for spinners.

If you are looking for a slipper who's never dropped a catch from spinners because he was: a) hesitant to go with reverse cup or normal cup and b) getting up too fast or not getting down low enough, you are going to have to look to someone like Wadekar or Surti and that is totally ridiculous expectation.

No ,you are not getting the point shewag has dropped more than he has caught in the recent series and its due to technical problem i mentioned .
