express bowling Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 chin up yes...but i think after our recent ownages we have to agree kp and cook are world class atm. Cook has really impressed me. Can play both pace and spin, plus he assumes responsibility and plays for the team under tough conditions. I think England would have lost in India if Cook was absent. He gave the whole team the belief that playing spin in India is possible.
express bowling Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Harbhajan is a good option for India' date=' but i dont think that ashwin would have any impact on Aussies. One more thing is that "why dhoni always begs in front of pitch curator" ?? Its not fair.[/quote'] In professional sports, as long as rules and laws are adhered to, everything is permissible to gain advantage. If pitches give us advantage, professional captains would want them. No point in complaining.
Crookbond Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Clarke is the only batsman I'm sure of against spin. Cowan and Wade could make up the numbers but considering the current Indian spin line up I wouldn't be surprised if Jackson Bird and James Pattinson score runs.
Pagalpanti Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 The pressure our spinners create depends on how much we score. We've seen them be all over oppositions when we have racked up 400-450+ which we couldn't manage vs England except for Ahmedabad.

He looked decent against Windies where the pitch was turning. Haddin was a good player of spin too.
