But Afridi doesn't have a cool vibe. I guess certain 'small town' people would consider Afridi's persona cool in a way. But the cool I'm talking of is a western kind of cool. Nadal is cool cause he radiates a raw animal persona.

Even in context of the women, the women have to be also cool and edgy. Afridi's wife looks very homely - similar to say SRT's wife. This is not the case with Pujara's wife who looks very dazzling in her sunglasses while texting etc during the match.
Afridi's wife is homely because she lives in Pakistan. If she does what girls in India do, she will be in a UK hospital like MALALA.

Actualy Pakistani society has become more and more conservative in recent years. This is reflected in the cricket team as well. The 'inshallahs', sajdas, beards are a relatively new phenomena. Pakistani cricketers of yesteryear never used to indulge in these things. sadiq-moh-mushtaq-moh-dawn-nfp.jpg Imran,Waqar,Wasim etc were very much party people. Even Shoaib was. This didn't put him in the good graces of the Inzy led mullah brigade.

The last cool Pakistani cricketer was prolly Wasim. Imran before him. Maybe Akhtar too. This current generation is a bunch of personality less people.
THe current gen are so boring. Even their youngsters like Jamshed and Shafiq don't look like fun people to chill or hang out with

Similar to say Ajay Jadeja and Ganguly. Zaheer Khan - Somewhere between Raina and Yuvraj. Rocked a pretty modern hairstyle during WC 2011.

Ashwin is the nerd. Pakistanis don't have diversity in their ranks though. Everyone is the illiterate religious guy. One or two is okay as it makes for good comic relief but the whole team. God.

no amount of coolness from his wife will make pujara cool..ever. He is more like 'pazham' 'fruit' from engineering college.

Pujara isn't cool. Just saying that he has an awesome wife. (Was using her as an example of a WAG to have) Pujara is more like Dravid... the good boy. Ashwin is another. You need some of these characters. A team full of Kohlis will get banned. As an aside, Vijay should really grow his beard back. Looks a real badass.

All their fast bowlers except Siddle and Hilf have cool personalities. Starc, Johnson, Pattinson, Cummins, etc.

Likeable yes, but not at that level. Sort of semi-cool - Along with the likes of Yuvraj, Prior, Graeme Smith. Of course we haven't seen much of them and they may evolve into the cool category in the future. Johnson though along with Clarke gives off more of a gayish metrosexual vibe. The street fighter vibe is missing.

Oz - Lyon, Doherty, Cowan SA - Amla, Peterson Eng - Trott, Cook, Compton SL - Herath (Don't know much about new players) India - Jadeja, Ojha, Ishant Pak - KAkmal, Irfan, Misbah, Younis, Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq ... Long list man WI - Most are somewhat cool. I guess Narine is least cool.
