Why r they struggling to dismiss tailenders? Its getting annoying these days..

now tailender can bat,there should be a definite plan or bowler like umar gul/malinga against tail.

I think this is where Zaheer in his prime was really useful. He would concentrate on big reverse swinging yorkers. Look at the 2008 series where Australia had White, Lee, Johnson and Siddle who were arguably just as good as the current tailenders in terms of batting but Zaheer cleaned them up quickly with his reverse swing. I think you either need a swing bowler who can bowl good yorkers (e.g. Zaheer, Waqar) AND/OR a genuine fast bowler (e.g. Lee) AND/OR a freakish spinner (e.g. Warne/Murali). India atm have none of those.

+1 nothing beats a bowler with sheer pace and bounce to skittle out the tailenders if its a spinner it has to be in Murali/Warne class so that tailenders' swipes are clueless swings and nothing else

I've never understood why bowlers and captains start trying new things for tailenders - what's wrong with Chappell's principle that what's good for the top order is good for the tail as well.

Problem with India is after getting the top and middle order out, they try to hard. They should keep it simple.
