If you have an iota of clue about Indian politics' date=' you would know that Modi is not going to become the PM in the next elections - the elections after that, outside chance, but possible. I hope you stick around on the site till next year - usually I don't gather much pleasure in saying "I told you so", but in your case I would make an exception.[/quote'] If you have an iota of clue about politics in general, you will know that in the 333 seats i have already mentioned to you, he has enough capability to get 200 seats atleast. If you are basing his capability outside Gujarat on his election rallies for STATE elections for other politicians outside of Gujarat, then you really have the IQ of your DP. Modi was the national organization secretary during the rise of the BJP in the 80's and 90's. He knows Indian politics much more than any of the secular libtards on ICF. I will be here next year and take great pleasure in making sure I get any reactions from you after Modi becomes PM. If SP pulls out, who knows it may be sooner? :two_thumbs_up:

the problem is you are just interested in making him a villain
Link? Source? Quote? In the past few days, you have said this multiple times trying to incite a "flame war" for a personal agenda while leaving the discussion on the merits/flaws behind. I see both the merits and the flaws in Modi's administration policy. Unfortunately, your jaundiced eye makes you see only the merits and ignore the flaws. I have asked you plenty of direct questions (in this and other threads) w/o no direct answer. I am forced to believe you do not have any.

Yeah, let's see how the numbers will work out. For starters read this post and tell me where I am off: http://indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=2010091&postcount=14
Let's take the most optimistic scenario for the BJP(counting only the BJP not allies since their support will be contingent on Modi) in 2014: 1. UP - 30/80 2. Bihar - 10/40 3. Maharashtra - 30/48 (including Shiv Sena since they will gladly support Modi) 4. MP - 20/29 5. Rajasthan - 20/25 6. Karnataka - 15/28 7. Gujarat - 20/26 Throw in another 50 from AP, Assam, Chhatisgarh, Harayana, Delhi, Punjab, Orissa and they still don't cross 200 forget about 271. None of their allies except Shiv Sena is going to support a government with Modi at the helm. It will be political suicide if BJP makes Modi their PM candidate and despite what the internet residing middle class thinks the ground reality is that BJP has got it's ass handed to them on a platter wherever Modi has campaigned outside Gujarat.

This is here things will get interesting if BJP on its own goes past 175 seats under Modi (a tough battle reaching that figure though) Will support Narendra Modi as PM candidate, says BJD doing a volte face Narendra Modi ideal candidate for PM's post: Shiromani Akali Dal So Shiv Sena alone isn't in his favour. Jayalalita, who's likely to win 25+ seats has great equations with Modi and attended his oath ceremony in Dec '12. The magic number being touted around is 175-180, BJP under Modi wins its, the allies will come to it in the name of anti Congressim. BTW this is an interesting take on the likely outcomes from the next general elections- http://blogs.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/headon/entry/countdown-to-2014-or-2013-with-new-link

pardon me but i have never seen you praise modi for anything. keep your secular objective lens to those who believe in the farce to begin with. i have given you enough to talk about how Gujarat has progressed under Modi. I am forced to also believe that those who havent liked Modi from the beginning will never like him despite all the evidence I can provide for his pro-governance record.

:cantstop: have not seen the merits of modi talk from you ever as far as I have been on ICF. and for the 24 hours electricity heres your answer. hopefully you read it carefully instead of just saying you have read and then trying to deflect your rebuttal. http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2012-08-01/india/32979744_1_power-surplus-state-power-grid-failure-gujarat-government-plans http://ibnlive.in.com/news/guj-24hour-power-supply-in-over-18000-villages/250309-3.html http://www.tamilnetonline.com/24-hours-electricity-power-full-gujarat/

I have given Modi credit for where he deserves. Example, the power sector. http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=2311356&postcount=35
Indeed these are credits for which Modi and his administration deserves (mind you - I am not having any discussion on whether the state was set for him etc. etc. He has the numbers under him and he deserves credit). Similarly, Jyotigram Yojana is indeed a positive for the Gujarat government (I believe it started in 2003) - so full credit to the Modi government for this. That said, I'm sure the power sector reforms can't be extrapolated to reforms in other sectors. ATM, we can only say that Modi is a brilliant administrator in the power sector. Just as more data comes in, I will keep on adding to this list.
Probably, you should get an eye check up before asking someone else to "read". So, can I now have an acknowledgment that you were wrong with your pre-conceived bias?

10 from Bihar :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Now listen here. BJD and Amma have already said that they would support Modi. BJP doesnt need to win anything in Orissa and TN. BTW remember BJP had 182 seats during NDA govt. Even though LK Advani and AB Vajpayee, who spearheaded the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, all the "secular parties" including Didi, Chandrababu Naidu, Nitish bhaiyya came rushing to be a part of the NDA. Even after 2002, Nitish remained railways minister.

As long as I have been on ICF, your secular lens has tilted towards Modi's criticism. No doubt it will increase as 2014 arrives. You asked me to give more proof on 24/7 electricity in Gujarat despite you yourself knowing the success of Jyotigram scheme as is admitted in post you url'd. You also jumped the gun on this US delegates issue when they themselves clarified that they didnt receive any money to meet Modi. In fact they were in India to visit various states. Have you apologized for that? What more can one ascertain from such behavior?

T.N could play a huge role in determining who forms the govt in the centre next. Traditionally, whenever a Parliment elections follows a state election, the T.N electorate have always followed thru on their state election voting pattern with similar voting for the centre as well. IF you go by history, ADMK is poised for a huge windfall (we are talking an excess of 33-34 seats here). And it is no secret that JJ has not been fan of Sonia for a while. She was among the first in the country to oppose Sonia's candidature for the post based on her Italian origins. She went to the extent of passing the pro-Hindu right, anti-conversation bill in the state. There's no question she will align herself with the BJP.

Let me remind you what you said earlier
End of discussion with seculars about Modi ends at him being a Hindu leader. They cant see that Gujarat is the only state in the past ten years to have a consistent agricultural growth rate of above 10 percent. Gujarat is the only 24/7 electricity providing state. Gujarat has also the best road system as acknowledged by UN. First digest this and then talk about development of other states.
http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=296009 For the highlighted, I responded with http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=2311737&postcount=49
What does this mean exactly? I am unable to understand. Can you elaborate a bit please on what it exactly means to be the ONLY 24/7 electricity providing state?
Since, you haven't responded - here is what your statement means. [1] Gujarat supplies power 24x7 to everyone in the state of Gujarat [2] No other state has 24x7 electricity like Gujarat does Your response is three links (you personally decry mainstream media and then chose to use the same links for an argument - selective amnesia perhaps!). Can you tell me where in those three links does it say [1] and [2]?

Huh what? Scamming people of their money by choosing to issue fake awards is not somebody's 'personal life'. And if Mr.Modi's intent is to sell Gujrat's credentials to attract jobs, then there is not much use talking to a performance artiste like Gingrich. He is a nobody in US establishment right now. He holds no official post in the US govt. He is not even a member of the House of Representatives. Even within the GoP, everyone hates him. He is part of that ever growing club of Republicans, comprising of other performance artistes like Palin, Bachmann, Cain, who throw their hat into presidential runs just to make themselves relevant. Of course, once the election cycle is over, they become irrelevant again. Four years later, the cycle repeats itself.
If Manmohan Singh can roll out a red carpet for George W Bush after the latter had completed his term in office, I dont see anything wrong in a skype chat between Modi and Gingrich.

please remind me which other state in India has 24/7 electricity. Secular, progressive southern states certainly dont. Gujarat supplies power 24x7 to all the 18,000 villages of gujarat. Who do you think lives in Gujarati villages, aliens?

Now who is the one making generalizations? You started to criticize Aaron Schock for ethics investigation, thus trying to delegitimize credibility of this meeting between two groups of political leaders and giving impression that some crooks have come to meet Modi and wanting to give credibility to the claim that 16000 story is real.. Always search for the negative when it comes to Modi, you

Before asking about generalizations, bear in mind you can only speak of me what I have posted. Not what you "think I will do". This is not Minority Report. Did I say crooks came to meet Modi? I just said one of the members of the meeting had an ethics committee probe under him. I don't see how that makes Aaron Shock a "crook". I gave my opinion that the meeting was "unimportant" which even a staunch Modi supporter like Seedhi agreed with. I mentioned the facts - you created an impression of me based on those facts. Why should the fact that Shock has an ethics probe be ignored? If it's not a fact - argue that it is not. Just in case, I was the first one to post that the 16,000 story wasn't real on this thread with a credible source. This, when Modi supporters were arguing taking into account that they were paid. Selective amnesia? By the same extended convoluted logic earlier - I should be a Modi supporter since I posted something in favorable for Modi. This also debunks your earlier theory that I have not seen you support Modi during your stay at ICF. AS they say, you see only what you want to see.

The way I see is this - You made claim X. X : Gujarat is the ONLY 24x7 power supplying state Now, to back up your claim you should show us data from all states and their surplus/deficit in the power sector. IF you can't, your claim on Gujarat being the ONLY 24x7 power supplying state is thin air.
