gakgupta Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Guyz, Amit mishra is bowling stupendously in this IPL season. Not done anything substantial in the domestic season but he has been really consistent in this tournament. BTW, what happened to his no-balls. First thing which comes to my mind was; how the hel,l being a spinner, he can be so consistent with the no-balls. Looks like he figured out the solution and worked on it. Now, India has a decent off-spiiner and if jadeja would continue to do the left-arm orthodox job....then instead of Harby or Ojha, Mishra should be pulled in. I know, Ojha is a very good spinner but to add that variety, he should pay way for Mishraji.... what say?? And he can be a good lower order batsmen....ofcourse, this should not be the criteria thought
sivanand82 Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Mishra is good when batsman attack him.The problem is when people try to play defensively he becomes ineffective.Definetely worth considering him for ODI's and TOI. And to add he is way better than fattish chawla. But he is no favorite to MSD!
vvvslaxman Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Mishra bowled even better in few IPL seasons back. HE is not consistent.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 I think as a spinner he is near the PEAK age.Time to give him a run in the national team.

sivanand82 Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Mishra bowled even better in few IPL seasons back. HE is not consistent. What about the Plaha Guy then?Does he deserve to play for India given his consistency
