arkay
http://www.theage.com.au/sport/cricket/ Typical of Aussie media: There is not even a single headline about aussie lost to India in twenty 20 headline. On the contrary, there is enough coverage about Hussey having hamstring injury. A true champion should know how to accept defeat more gracefully. http://www.smh.com.au/sport/cricket/index.html Hussey injured as India beat Australia Is this the reason why Aussie lost? No coverage from sports writer about the match. The only coverage is from AFP. At last, there is some coverage from news.com.au Link to comment
Cricketics
did u see some porno picture on the top???? i mean the first headline sayz "hussey injured as India beat aus" btw, i saw similar article when pak defeated aus, and pakiz were over reacting.. imean why do pak care about this?? its aus media, pak won, u enjoy why do u care even if they don't put.. its their will Link to comment
The Outsider
On the contrary, it's good that their media does not start hounding the team and players after these losses. Link to comment

THX_1138
did you not read the article above that "dhoni game for a laugh"? it is full of praise for sreesanth, yuvraj and dhoni. the only irksome sentence is "... as india prevailed over a weekened australia" which is fairly genuine considering their best batsman is sitting at home. THX_1138
go home, pick up a decent book and read it instead rather than scourging the net at any signs of inadequate praise heaping on a team which just won a lottery. i am joyful that we won, but i dont read too much into a game meant for laugh and tickels. THX_1138
oh yeah another thing... cricket is not the biggest sport in Australia. its australian rules football and rugby. cricket is at par with soccer in popularity (if not lower). when was the last time our headlines screamed that australia beat us 3-1 in hockey? or for that fact, when did our headlines scream that we just beat australi 2-1 in hockey (which we just did and lost only in the final to south korea). THX_1138
not everybody is like us who put negative news at the front or maybe cricket is not a driving force in their life. Link to comment
THX_1138
and dada... putting your negative news on the front, be it for kicks or ratings or higher sales serves the purpose of reminding the people of what is going wrong and how it ought to be fixed. regretably, a disturbing majority of indian masses seem to have grown a apathetic disconnection with the rest of their country/world.
