3.48 pm: Sources have told a TV channel that Srinivasan told BCCI members that he is open to a probe by a judge. He has reportedly said that the judge can probe CSK and him as well.

Not totally true. Firstly, the investigation itself started on the basics on terror financing. It's only when IPL was getting mentioned tons of times that it shifted. They basically got lucky. And even the police themselves have admitted that they have made some mistakes and it could have been handled much better. Yes, certainty It's only after something happens that we wake up. Delhi police being the forerunner meant Mumbai had to get their act together. And they did and have got some new names. But like Delhi, they are using this as a PR marketing.
It doesn't matter how they got started, but Delhi police said they were recording conversations of specific people for months and were waiting for all the 3 players to act on bookie instructions before they arrested them. It looks like some amount of planning needed for a conviction went into the operation. Where is the planning in case of mumbai police?Either they had all the information and were choosing not to act or magically came up with enough info just after the delhi police arrests. Either way, it doesn't inspire much confidence. It feels a tamasha put up for public consumption.But I hope i am proved wrong and there are convictions in both the cases.

Dont really get why Mr. Meiyappan is suspended by BCCI, they say he is not associated with CSK, he is neither associated with BCCI.. :--D

End of day these are all big sham , if other franchises don't have any issues why should we care.

S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and two bookies remanded to two more days of police custody by court. Sreesanth has moved for a bail plea which will be heard by the court on 28 May. Meanwhile cricketer Ankit Chavan and three bookies sent to judicial custody till June 4 by court in connection with the case. Chavan has moved bail plea saying his wedding is scheduled on 2 June; the court will hear arguments for this plea on 28 May.

Pity the girl. His career is done and he may go to prison.
Chavan must have been enticed by the evil bookies..he was the first to break down & confess the girl may have her reasons to continue with the marriage
