Lord Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 Who were rested? Dhoni deserved it. The other joker was picking and choosing ODIS and watching wimbleton tennis instead of playing for country. GG,Sehwag,Yuvraj,Zak all were rested IIRC

IIRC Other than Dhoni everyone else was injured after IPL - Sehwag, Zaheer, Yuvraj, Nehra, Sreesanth. Gambhir was named the captain but was found to be injured. Sachin anyways was not going to play as he was hardly playing ODIs other than the WC and major bilateral series. For the 3 match ODI series in 2009 as well, we had the fit regulars playing- Dhoni, Yuvraj, Gambhir, Nehra.
singhprakash72 Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Ishant no business to be in any Indian team (Test, ODI or T20) and Murali Vijay should be no where near ODI team . Shami Ahmed and Yuvi (or Pujara) should be in to replace them.
