Good decision, stick with the same squad that has reached semi finals:two_thumbs_up: The squad is young so no need for rotation or future planning

but with the amount of cricket we play,isnt it wise to rest key players in low profile tourneys? also we could try some youngsters.We need to continue building our WC squad

Team is expected to fly out to Caribbean directly from England. makes sense to retain the same set of players. Plus we already have a team with an average age of 25 years. How many more youngsters? All those named in the thread but not picked for WI would be on the SA A tour hopefully. Also, perhaps BCCI after that 2010 Zim debacle will prefer to play safe now.

This is a fairly young team. And CT was their 1st series as a team, to build a new team we need continuity. Can't have chopping and changing every series. Perhaps they could give some seniors rest during Zim series.

Good decision. You dont want to select youngsters and lose the series which can harm our coveted no.1 rankings. I would have picked Yuvraj though.

Are we even playing Zimbabwe, we could rest half the squad against them but I dont think broadcasters would like it.

I would have liked to see Mohit Sharma, Jaydev Unadkat, Rishi Dhawan, Kedhar Jadhav in the squad. Could have tried them out as its not an important series. WICB and advertisers could have a problem with that though.

I agree with DM. Its hard to change a squad within 10 days and have doing pretty well. On the other side- Ishant you lucky ***** !! :mad: What the hell is up with this scedule? Is there going to be no break after the CT? Rubbish from BCCI.

Fair call. We have the A tour of SA coming up in which i want the likes of Pujara and Rahane to go. Same should have been the case of Dhawan and VJ though considering they will open in SA.
