Effect of relative humidity on swing

has anybody else noticed that the ball is starting to swing a bit upfront? In both semis rather than the overcast conditions its was a case of relatively high humidity (more than 90%) I dont know much about this. But does humidity play a part in swing?

Humidity has no affect on swing.

Humidity = more moisture in the air which helps the ball to swing. That's why when there is cloud cover, there will be more humidity in the air and hence the ball swings a lot more. As for today's game, there was cloud cover throughout the day and there was swing on offer but apart from Kulasekara, SL didnt have any genuine swing bowlers. Malinga is more of an ODI specialist who relies more on variations, yorkers, short pitch deliveries and rest are bits and pieces bowlers like Mathews, Perera. They missed another swing bowler like maybe Eranga ? Indian bowlers used the conditions better. B Kumar swung the ball a lot as did Ishant. Even Umesh cut down on his pace and tried to get the ball to swing. They also consistently hit the full length which meant the ball swung late and got batsmen into trouble.
