G_B_ Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 BT sports is a much bigger company than Sky due profits from broadband in the UK via being an ISP and also telephone line rentals. (they own those all copper wire networks) They have been making bigger profits then Sky in recent times and have purchases ESPN in the UK and Ireland. British sport in general is going to benefit from the mother of all bidding wars.
