The commentators were saying that his parents are some big time venture capitalists in New Delhi. They also kept saying that "I thought Indian kids only play cricket :giggle:". Mind you, this is being played in Britain :winky: The poms were taking digs at us btw, Shiv crashed out on day2 as expected:hatsoff:

Mind you, this is being played in Britain :winky: The poms were taking digs at us btw, Shiv crashed out on day2 as expected:hatsoff: Shiv was tipped to be the next big thing here in Asia after his debut sucess on the asian tour ( IIRC 2008 )..since then he has fallen behind lot of other Indian youngsters ( Lahiri , Bullar etc ) . Hes been completely out of form for past few years now , surprised everyone by qualifying here .

The 32-year-old, who spent his childhood caddying at the Karnataka Golf Association before turning pro in 1997, lifted his maiden Asian Tour title at the Indian Open in October.
