King Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Gone Jayawardane, fantastic catch by Flem. I haven't seen Jayawardane score runs outside Sri Lanka at all. After a fantastic knock by Jayasuriya, Jayawardane goes cheaply. I think NZ is well and truly in the hunt here :wtg:
Anakin Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI Didn't he have a good tour in England? Not sure though
yoda Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI Attapattu might want to talk to Ganguly on how to make a comeback as an ex-captain.
King Posted January 6, 2007 Author Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI Didn't he have a good tour in England? Not sure though I'm mnot sure either but every time I have seen him bat he falters in NZ.
King Posted January 6, 2007 Author Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI Atapattu's batting as good as he ever used to. I think the injury had ruled him out not his batting form in the last one year or so.
beetle Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI 58/8....wow!.... c'mon srilanka! :cheer: :cheer:
MundaPakistani Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI woooh what a show by SL...i think Sangakarra himself will end up with more runs than the entire Kiwi team!!
theguyinallblue Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI this malinga guy is seriously fast...and he is always on the body... any one playing against him is certain to get few body blows... but considering his action....he will not last long... that heavy use of shoulder will finally take a heavy toll on his body.... i think he will be a goner in about 50 tests.....
King Posted January 6, 2007 Author Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI I spent whole day watching this game :wall: Lest it's not the least NZ has ever scored, there you go something positive to come out of this one.
beetle Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI 73...all out Congrats srilanka.... :wtg: :wtg: :wtg:
beetle Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI What's with newzealand changing colours so often.....?Or have i been watching a fewold matches....?
MundaPakistani Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI Match result Sangakara wins by 6 runs
MundaPakistani Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI this malinga guy is seriously fast...and he is always on the body... any one playing against him is certain to get few body blows... but considering his action....he will not last long... that heavy use of shoulder will finally take a heavy toll on his body.... i think he will be a goner in about 50 tests..... he has already played quite a few test matches. He is fast but a bit one dimensional and once you get used to him you can hit him around RE: A Razzaq in the CT.
King Posted January 6, 2007 Author Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI What's with newzealand changing colours so often.....?Or have i been watching a fewold matches....? What do you mean changing colours? Batting colours or kit colours :chin:
beetle Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI what is btting colours? I mean kit colour......meaning clothes....saw them in grey recently ....i think..
King Posted January 6, 2007 Author Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI Changing batting colours - I was referring to the indifferent batting form. The grey (WC 1992 replica) or a biege is used only in Twenty20s. For ODIs the black kits are used and hasn't change since couple of years.
beetle Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI ...ok ravi...i have just been watching few overs .....have to give first importance to my first team.... :hic:
talksport Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI Looks like the Whole New Zealand is in the Stadium like 20000 + crowd.... It was an embarrasing defeat but some of the shots Jayasuriya played were breathtaking.
King Posted January 6, 2007 Author Posted January 6, 2007 Re: NZ v SL 4th ODI Flem didn't mince words and described NZ efforts as "Rubbish". Not just this game but has acknowledged it has been "Rubbish" for a while. Lest he is forthright and the players will get a good dressing down surley.
