Does that mean he is better than Sachin? These comparisons are baseless. I agree Laxman is slighty better test batsman than Ganguly, but I would pick Ganguly due to his other attributes. Got a better cricket brain, a leader, can bowl too.Kohli is not half as good as sachin at 24 Does that mean kohli needs to be dropped ?

Farooq averages 32 in test cricket and you would left a 50 average batsman to open with him. You can easily have him at 7 if you so want him.

You can easily have him at 7 if you so want him. u missed the pointt....if he was to play at 7 then would have chosen dhoni over him and then the composition gets ruptured to 6-1-1-3 ....just 3 specialist bowler????? N a 30 odd in his days is little less than a 50 or 60 of today.....
