We will also beat Aussies in ODIs coming next month. Just hoping full SA tour takes place, a win there would make it the ideal year for Indian cricket.

actually a 4 test series wud work in Indias favour as they can bounce back from initial shock but unfortunately its always 3 test series n this time it might be a 2 test series in SA.

Great effort by Team India and BCCI. At the moment Team India is the only team to rank in top 3 in all 3 formats (Test - 3, ODI - 1, T20 - 3).

Not a single batsman or bowler has proved himself away from home and you think they'll win a series against no 1 team straight away? Too much expectation is not good. If the tour goes ahead and if India gets to play 3 tests, it'll be an achievement if they avoid a whitewash!!

I agree. Dhawan, Vijay, Kohli, Pujara, Rohit, B Kumar, Umesh, Ashwin, Jadeja havent played many tests in overseas conditions. But the three series coming up over the course of next year in SA, New Zealand and England will test them a lot and will give them good experience because I believe this team will form our core for the next decade or so. Its not good to have too high expectations from them because they are up against experienced sides at their home and even great players who have played for India in the past have struggled initially in their careers in those conditions.
