RIP, victims. Now, am waiting for President Obama's "If I had a son, he would look like the killer Aaron Alexis ..." speech. Ya know the race-baiting one he gave after Trayvon Martin's killing. The gunman:
You want him to call out every black guy in the news as his would be son? :giggle:

That is such a cheap-shot. You are better than that, CA.

Seriously, CA, cmon man.
Agreed. But, I am still trying to get over the cheapness of the President fanning racial flames when Trayvon was killed. The only reason he used the "if I had a son ..." line was because Trayvon was an AA man killed by a non-AA goon. When the race-roles are reversed or if there is a B-on-B or W-on-W crime, there is no such empathy. I just don't get it. I should let it go.

How many AA kids were killed in the Newton massacre? Did the President go and hi-fi people with a big smile during the ceremony arranged to remember them? Not everything we do needs to be interpreted thru the lens of a race relations. If a brown guy in his 20s was hurt in an accident, I would feel some level of empathy because I belong to the same category too. But that does not mean my reaction would be the opposite if the white in his 20s was hurt.
