India is full of rubbish illeterate engineers
The problem is more likely to do with sidelining engineering inputs for the sake of additional profits. Third building collapse in the city in six months. The BMC must be run by the gandus.

I have full respect for engineers and this is no potshot at Indian engineers. But the quality of engineers I have come across, especially Civil Engineers, is shockingly poor and scary. Just the lack of general/basic engineering concepts is appalling.
