No big deal. I remember VVS was the designated spokesman for the SA tour last year. I guess the team management nominate somebody who is articulate and comfortable in front of cameras.

yes, and I remember Dhoni addressing the media when Rahul Dravid was captain...so its not at all new to us...!

Karthik is a slick talker , good communicator. You can expect him to not make bloopers like " I would like to than k all the Muslims in the world" like Malik did. He's actually quite a hip guy and has a very arrogant gait about him, which proves useful in press conferences. Uthappa also seems quite good at fielding questions. Its a good thing they are allowing different team members to address the media at different times.Shows that there is a decent team spirit going and everybody is quite well-informed on the strategies of the team.
