It is actually quite funny, if you understand what the humor is all about. The first and second videos were mocking at typical Indian stereotypes - The Indian accent , the submissive housewife , domineering husband, badly maintained house etc.. I guess the guys living in UK will be able to relate more with it than us.

I think most people here don't understand British humour. In music and humour Britain RULES! Let's see if you lot find these videos funny. They are taken from a comedy series called "Little Britain". This particular character is called Vicky Pollard :hysterical: She is da bomb and represents typical teenager in England  US equivalent of trailer trash :giggle: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUPMJ3S8_K8]YouTube - Vicky Pollard Xmas Skit 2[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9--0crFqUU]YouTube - Little Britain Vicky Pollard[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_diO7Of188s]YouTube - Vicky Pollard & her gang claiming the patio[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDOpVA5vQ8I]YouTube - Vicky Pollard on school visit[/ame]

I totally agree. You need to have a really sophisticated sense of humor to fully appreciate British humor. :two_thumbs_up:

They always, seem to laugh at someone's expense.

It's about British comedy:haha: There is a comedy prog. called "Little Britain". Two men play all the main characters in the series....from gay men to teenage girls. They basically take piss out of Britain.

I think people in the UK are the most elucidative speakers/writers. At one point , i literally fell in love with Tony Blair speeches( never missed his annual labor party conference speeches) Even in this board , it is evident that guys like Dhondy, Observer are the best exponents of the English language.

It does not negate the fact that some of the humor above is simply crass. Ah, to each his/her own.

F'leg , british humor can be appreciated at multiple levels. A lot of word-play happens, which sometimes we miss.
