randomGuy Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Gates foundation has made immense contribution in fighting AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria and almost eradicating polio worldwide. Our own billionaires could learn a thing or two from the great man. And regarding headline of this interview, disease prevention is vital but so is internet. Its a pity that 5 billion people of the world still do not use to it.
Crookbond Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I will remember Bill Gates not for Microsoft but for what he has done with the Gates foundation. The foundation is pushing barriers from toilets to power, to vaccination, to education. Even his harshest of critics will agree that the world be much more poor without Gates and his foundation. I wish that the foundation progresses more rapidly for the benefit of humanity. RG - Your "billionaires" do their fair share of charity too. However, their impact is not as large as Gates.
