Gabriel is going through a bad patch in FC cricker after returning from his back injury. They could have even tried Jason Holder.

He got his chances, did not do well anywhere England, WI, Bangladesh in test matches and is asked to play domestic to improve in long form, can be included but that is still arguable seeing his r3ecent record. In NZ, they mainly going to play one spinner and Ford is their best bet. ODIs or T20s, he will be the first name in bowlers pool.

I think they should send some youngsters who care about playing test cricket rather than like sod gayle.They have to replace gayle,sammy,ram din, and make bravo captain.Play 2 spinners and 2 pacers with roach rampual,holder and get some young quicks and play nairne and shilling ford. Get some young batsman the opener in odis would do not worse.

Sammy will be useful in NZ, pitches suit him. I see no problem. NZ is not India.
