Why are England Austrslia playing back to back Ashes?

Why are England Austrslia playing back to back Ashes? The reason i read was it is because of 2015 world cup in Australia.If that is the case then why are we (India) touring in the window usually allocated for Ashes ? Based on our four year cycle we should have been touring in 2015-16 but are touring Aus instead a year earlier. Obviously i am not complaining as this mean we get perfect practice in Aus pitches just before world cup in 2015. But it doesnt make sense when they say Ashes is preponed and played back to back due to the world cup yet we are touring to Aus in the usual Ashes window to play almost the same amount of matches (Just one test less and also tri series along with England conveniently) . Did BCCI by some chance force Ashes to be preponed and let us tour Aus during the Ashes window so that we get the best preparation before world cup in 2015 ?

1st reasons was the World Cup 2015 but England had a choice to move it to 2012 but the Olympics were on. That's why they were back to back.

They didn't like the idea of World cup right after Ashes. Especially because of what took place in 2011 World cup, English players looked out of sorts and jaded.
