Pioneer Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 No sir, this seed of hatred started with Zia up haq and his support for Afghan mujahideen, his support for salafi jihad and development of state sponsored extreme right wing madrassahs which tripled overnight all over the country in the late70s. The terrorism u see right now is the direct consequence of those policies established back then. You have noticed this growing menace now that it is affecting your country but never complained when it was affecting our country through out 90s. Using proxy war and targeting minorities in Kashmir trying to destabilize India through jihadism were regular ploys used my Pakistani establishment. Now it seems that the chicken has come home to roost. As long as you keep giving far right islamists disproportionate say in Pakistani affairs as well as let salafists exist and brainwash waves and waves of potential jihadi graduates, this mayhem will continue. Correct and the more Pakistanis who realize this, the better it'll be for the country. Maybe now that these guys are so openly threatening the state itself all these apologists will have some sense knocked into them. People like IK have been very mute recently in their propeace stance. Alot of PTI members are also clamouring for a military op now as well. So lets see.

Pakistan as a nation has gone through more upheavals than any country on the planet in short life span. They have constantly been striving for an identity. When you try too hard to do that, it can have unintended consequences. Now, you have situation where young population is completely uninformed and living in an alternate reality. They have no historical perspective of the land they come from and what they are surrounded by. It is difficult to watch. I know it's easy to gloat given what they have done in India. But we are still talking of innocent human beings.

Dont we have our own problems?? And some of them are major ones. We need to move on from padosi country.. let them solve their issues.
