Yes that did happen, Dhoni gesturing to the fielder. What also happened later in the over was Dhoni facepalming when Aaron missed the easy runout. One of the slip fielders also had his hands on his head at the time.

I know you dhoni fantaics will go to any lengths to defend him. But actually watch what happened In that over of aaron there were 2 talking points. 1. Was no ball for fielder not inside circle. Dhoni had a go at some fielder who he thought should have been in 2. Aaron run out attempt, when dhoni laughed and smirked at some other fielder about aaron attempt in mocking way. I watched that whole over live. Highlights may not show the run out
