zep1706 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I don't see absolutely any reason for him to be not playing in the squad. He is our second best batsman after Kohli and he must play ODI cricket. ODI cricket is much more than just hitting the ball out of the stadium. This decision of not playing him baffles me to say the least. Let him open the innings and bring Nohit to #5, drop Raydu.

Kane Williamson have you seen him in nz if pujara can do that I will be very happy. Odis are not all about sixers four are low risk shots.i would play him one down.

You don't want to mess up with the best batsman in the squad. But he is good enough to either open or play at #4.
