I don't know. But I'm guessing that they will have an IPL SS so till that time just write that the scoring pattern will be the same as cricinfo & whenever it comes out' date=' just copy it.[/quote'] Sounds good :nice:

Create a playing XI for each of these 5 teams in IPL/cricinfo SS and update points after each match in this thread :nice:
Players will be auctioned after that we will submit our team

so this would basically be like the Fantasy League we have for various tournaments like Champions Trophy, Ashes etc with the only difference being that there would be only 5 teams here :hmmm:

There's a limit of 5 only for captain changes, the other players can be changed in every match, right?

another suggestion' date='to avoid trolling keep a minimum of say 1 bil difference between 2 bids[/quote'] I thought of keeping 5 bilz gap in bids for quick auction :cantstop: But then, you wont have fun of an auction, plus unlimited substitution are allowed whereas in this competition, there is no room for substitution (only 2 changes via Wild Card is allowed).

Hey Gaurav, one rule is must - there should be a limit for the no of players you can bid for. Otherwise there will be relentless trolling. Suppose team A doesn't want a player but still they bid for him so that team B have to pay more for him.

So we will choose our fantasy team in the CI SS with the 11 players we have bought? What about the substitutions?
Exactly. Thats why no forming teams in Cricinfo SS. We will just copy their scoring pattern and update here so that our calculations are done easily. I hope the scoring is visible for all players there

So yes there is a limit, but you can't keep a lid on the number of players to bid for. If one trollls, he takes his own risk of ending up buying that player too :cantstop:

suppose a team buys a total of 18 players - then that team can change players from among that squad of 18 for each match, right?

He can use wild card to exchange a player with an unsold player. One cannot selected 18 players in the team.
