Everyone knows the legend that is waqar younis. No introduction needed. But as a fan of fast/medium-fast bowling and seeing the sad state of indian bowling, here's something interesting I found. Listen to what he says at 3:10 -TfwJfWj3yQ He describes the same attitude that indian fans and management have: 'he's wayward so we don't want him.' Then look at what waqar became after playing more and more. No one understands that accuracy can be improved but pace can't be taught it seems. It involves hard work, fitness, attitude, desire. We need to do the same with our lot, encourage them to bowl fast and stick to their strengths. Waqar :hatsoff: The focus on accuracy and economy (even in tests to an extent) would have turned many Srinaths in to Prasads in India. Also since we haven't produced that many great fast bowlers - the advise passed on is also probably to concentrate on accuracy and not on how to tear away an opposition's batting line up

BK is a average bowler.He is not test match material.He relies too much on swing with new ball.He can't seam the ball,reverse swing it,bowl a decent bouncer at batmans throat nor has decent pace. He'll be cannon fodder if mgmt decides to play him in aus.
