While we are blaming Yuvraj our kaptaan cool also has to take the blame he struggled against Westindies took the game till last over and the gun player Raina did not even bat the best player of our team. It just shows that he is afraid to experiment with the batting line up and somewhere the defeats handed in overseas has affected his and team managements mindset.

As for Semi Finals and Finals - he took 2 wickets each in those matches. Also made 21 not out in the Final. Out of 7 matches that India had to play in the 2007 world t20, one was washed out and Yuvraj did not play against SA. So he played 5 matches and in those 5 he was Man of the Match in 2 - thats not enough?

No one is promoting anyone and have said it on other threads as well that Gambhir post 2011 was rightly dropped but to say that he or Yuvraj did nothing when we won the trophy is back in 2007-2011 is quite foolish.Yuvraj played poorly today no one is denying that.

After so much experience is he cant take pressure then who, Mohit Sharma will take pressure. He got credit when he played well. Today he was selfish and too top it he has been arrogant about his form that it is all good and superb

I am not saying he did nothing. he did great. But today he became selfish. If a youngster did it , even then it is not understandable. this is an experienced player. so support for what? are we criticizing Rahane or ROhit today.. they were poor too but they tried the right thing....UV was slefish today. willing to sacrifice some balls to cement his place. make his team and captain look like bunch of fools

Then get out. With likes of Raina sitting in the dressing room itching to get a hit, the bloke was pottering around. Seriously, there's no defense for such an innings. He singlehandedly finished off the game for India and was the difference between a fighting total of around 150-160 and a sub-par total of 130.

Cant believe we are still discussing Gambhir. As Ive proven since right after the world cup where he hit his one knock he is highly one dimensional. He cant field cant bowl and at #3 he should have put up some big scores like you know Kohli Dravid and other Indian #3s have over the years. As I said law of averages caught up luckily in the finals. Simple question to all you guys defending Yuvraj who has "won us" 2 world cups. He has played in the following Semi and Finals 2003 Semi and WC Finals 2007 Semi and WC Finals 2011 Semi and WC Finals 2014 Semi and WC Finals Aside from 1 knock against Australia in 2007 when he was at his absolute best what has he done in any of those matches?
