He made not attempt to take a risk just soaked up almost 4 overs starving Kohli the man of the tournament of any strike and preventing Dhoni and Raina from making an impact What Yuvraj did today is the most selfish thing ever he has sold out our country and is a disgrace I don't care about what he did in the past.. If we are going to live on past glory then why not pick Shastri and Gavaskar too. Fact is the best team lost but Yuvraj's selfishness cost our country the cup.

India has great talents ready to play cricket. Even yusuf pathan would have been better! Atleast he knows his role: hit out or get out. Yuvraj made us lose to the damn SL who know that yuvraj gave them a t20 wc win. Yes they bowled well but not THAT well. Yuvraj should never have come back. Never will be a yuvraj fan again. Wasn't a bad game, it was a poor tournament. Dumb of dhoni to even send him at 4 when raina was ready to go being 21 off 9 last game.

Or any hitter who can get singles, 4s and the odd six? Heck uthappa or GG would have been wayyy better. There's no "right" to do anything. You play to win for your country, not cost them a wc win.

What yuvi did today has me boiling inside still. But I want him badly to prove to the world that he can fight back.

In ODIs also replacements for Yuvraj and Raina were tried in the form of Karthik and Rayudu and we know the results of the asia cup 2014. If the performaace of final alone is benchmark, Malinga should not have played another match for Srilanka after WC2011.Also Jayawardane and Sangakkara should not have played any more T20s after their T20 exits in finals on 2009, 2012. Sangakkara never made any runs till now in any of the matches in this world cup and showed up today.These things happen, we need to move on. It is the motivation level and ability of Yuvraj from now on, what he wants to do. The selectors and Dhoni can always cut his career off.But having said that, I think we have seen the last of Yuvraj. It is sad to see the player who has won 2 WCs with his crucial knocks exit in shameful fashion.
