Couldn't see any of the quicks getting picked up, it'd be an expensive gamble to take considering the amount of quality we have here. Maybe someone like Aaron would have the speed to stand out if he can get his radar right (is bowling well at the moment!). Apart from the bats surely their T20 spinners would mostly be an upgrade on ours. Ashwin, Chawla, Jadeja etc could probably all get a spot at the right price. But then I spose you have the different conditions etc to take into account. It's an interesting question as my mind at first thought "heaps" due to the higher profile of the IPL, but it's pretty difficult to think of sure things outside of Dhoni/Kohli.

I would say Kohli and Dhoni would just about be the only certainties, apart from that probably Ashwin, Jadeja, Harbhajan and Dhawan would all be a chance.

Kohli and Dhoni would be guaranteed. I'm not sure how well Dhawan would do but I suspect he'd get picked up. Bhaji might just get picked up because he's very well known in Australia- arguably the highest profile player here now. Also Sehwag might be a chance. Not confident in him performing but I wouldn't be surprised if he were picked up.

Forget BBL, a lot of Indian guys wouldn't get picked in the IPL if there wasn't a 7 Indian player rule. Kohli, Dhoni, Raina, Ashwin, Jadeja, Mishra, Rohit, Bhajji, Dhawan, Pappu, Yuvraj, Shami, Bhuvi, Yadav would all get picked up.

Isn't there a one million dollar salary cap for the BBL teams? So the max that they can pay a player is what, 300 thousand dollars? That doesn't even make 2 crore rupees lol. The likes of Dhoni and Kohli wouldn't even make themselves available for this pittance. Maybe international discards like Irfan, Uthappa would sign up for this if allowed by the BCCI.
