That is what he explained later. he was afraid of getting bowled out for 130. He was not confident enough to go for shots without worrying about losing his wicket. Frankly Dhoni was no maxwell in any point of his career.

You have to consider the "FORM" . You keep missing that. Baz in form would have won even in 17 overs. Not in form. Dont add Dhoni there. lol Haven't we seen enough of him. Jaddu lol

That is why his team has reached more finals than any other teams. Bailey for all his accolades could not defend totals like 350 against India. Because we had Kohli going ballistic.

(We had AVK hreads even then lol) He is rated very highly. Can you expect Nohit, Murali Vijay to do that? No way.
