dial_100 Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 These cars make me sick. I would rather be off road than driving such cars..
Gaurav Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 I would pick a bike over a car anyday :yay: One of these bad boys for me-
Guest Hiten. Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 SSC Ultimate Aero.. Driving the fastest car in the world is something that you can cherish
Ram Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 All the cars listed here so far are ridiculously expensive However, there is one bird that you can have at a meager $75,000 ( by the typical sports car standards, that is not a lot). ( dont mind the color) That is a Lotus Exige, the two seat coupe from the Lotus stable. With a turbocharged Toyota Engine that gives 240 BHP, this lady hits the straps at 0-60 in 3.9 secs and maxes at 155 mph, which is not bad at all. If anybody has $75,000 in spare cash and dont know what to do, I say buy this. You wont regret it.
Ram Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 SSC Ultimate Aero.. Driving the fastest car in the world is something that you can cherish That car will crash at the first turn it encounters.
Ram Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 Though it be a good time to bump this thread; Without a doubt, the Car of the year is the Nissan GTR. Its amazing to think that a proper 4 seater saloon car can actually get around the Nurburgring faster than a Porche 911, for half the Porche's price.
Guest Hiten. Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 That car will crash at the first turn it encounters. That's why you take turns at 20 kmph :giggle:
Ram Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 But by far, the most important car to come out this year, a car which is going to define mobile transportation for the next 50 years and beyond is the Honda FCX Clarity. Whats so special about this car? Its the first, commercially produced, Hydrogen fuel-cell powered car. So the only emission is Water. Its not a Hybrid like the Prius, which actually ends up consuming more Gas than most diesel cars, nor is it like an out-and-out electric, whose top-speed is 40 and dont travel beyond a few dozen miles at one go and require an eternity to recharge again. This car has a Hydrogen fuel cell instead, which powers the onboard motor. All you need to do to refuel it is to drive upto a Hydrogen filling station like any Gas station and it takes no more than a few minutes to fill it up and on a full 'tank', it drives for several 100 miles. The best part is, its performance is comparable to most Petrol powered cars of comparable sizes. Only problem; There arent many Hydrogen filling stations as yet, so the Car is right now only available in California. But at some point in the next 25 years, each and every one of our family will have this sort of car ( assuming a) Global warming hasnt destroyed the world before that. b) The credit crunch gets over and people can actually afford to buy new cars)
Holysmoke Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 http://automobiles.honda.com/fcx-clarity/ its out in cali.. shell gas stations now have h2 as well

Predator_05 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Nothing tops the Maruti 800. I will play the Ashiq Banaya song on high volume while cruising down the streets, chewing paan, hair all oiled up with Parachute Coconut oil, shouting OYE HOYE at every female i see
Rajiv Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 My first personal car, put mags, sport gear knob, sport steering, spoilers, bucket seats, box bass speakers Pioneer stereo..ah what dayz I even remember the no. MFF 6729, sold it to my best friend when I left for US - he had to spend a fortune on repairing things :haha: One of my friends had got a really diesel version, that was fun driving and another guy ( influential ) had a automatic Maruti 800
