StriKe Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 RT @the_hindu: #NOTA gets 5.68 lakh votes in Tamil Nadu
bulbul Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 as per national election i am getting 282 where are people getting 285 from? NDTV
BlackMamba Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Former chief minister Ajit Jogi's tactic, of fielding 10 independent candidates with names that sound similar to the BJP candidate's, does not seem to have worked for the Congress veteran, who is trailing by a few hundred votes Chandulal Sahu, popularly known as Chandu Bhaiya. Some of these nincompoops still live in the Indira Gandhi era. India has moved on Ajit Gaddha Jogi.
BlackMamba Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 No seat from mallu land..... Ramya lost from Mandya :yay: All the cuties are losing - one by one -- I had hoped at least some would win -- to get some eye-candies in the Parliament:cantstop:
Texan Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 Congress performance much much worse than even the worst case scenario that they would have ever imagined.
bulbul Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Some of these nincompoops still live in the Indira Gandhi era. India has moved on Ajit Gaddha Jogi. Dont think so..just check the number of votes polled by those other Chandu's.
G_B_ Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I am pretty confident BJP-sena would have won all the seats in maha with bigger margins if it was not for fudged voter lists beware for assembly elections

Also Congress forts like Sangli that never went to BJP have been breached. Satara as always stays with Udayan and Baramati with Pawar. The rest is a clean sweep.

G_B_ Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Bal thackrey era is over, time to invlove actively. Except him i dont know who is big SS leader? thats the problem the sena faces. for all we know bjp will probably project munde and if they win most seats they will win the most number of seats. The dynamic of the sena-bjp has been sena pulling the BJP in the state. This election its the bjp pulling the sena.

They just want to keep the Marathi pride alive.
surajmal Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 BRIC Coiner O’Neill Says Modi Victory Is a ‘Massive Positive’ “This is the most positive development in India in 30 years,†he said at the SkyBridge Alternatives Conference in Las Vegas today. O’Neill said he had met Modi a number of times over the last 12 months and that if he pursues anti-corruption policies, the country has the potential to grow about 10 percent annually for the next 20 years. :agree: http://www.businessweek.com/news/2014-05-16/bric-coiner-o-neill-says-modi-victory-is-a-massive-positive
G_B_ Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Frankly, I dont think Sena would mind it. They are not big on governance . They just want to keep the Marathi pride alive. I sort of feel they want the revenue ministry more than CM seat :cantstop: @bulbul written rule of thumb is that BJP gets more seats in lok sabha and Sena gets more seats in assembly. In lok sabha they work together. Cause it involves many assembly segments with BJP and sena MLAs. However assembly its a case of divide the seats and all the CM seat goes to the one who wins the most seats. For eg in mumbai south. Arvind Sawant needed Gujju and Marathi votes to win. In assembly Lodha a gujju represents malabar hill a gujju area and sena represents worli a marathi area.
