moniker Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 ^ isnt kookabura red ball = kookabura white ball duke red = duke white sg red = sg white other than color whats the difference??? same manufg specs, except color? Would like to know the diffrnce. Red balls are used for 80 overs in tests, but the white ball hardly lasts 40 overs in ODIs. Seems to get worn out quickly.
IKnowU Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Red balls are used for 80 overs in tests' date=' but the white ball hardly lasts 40 overs in ODIs. Seems to get worn out quickly.[/quote'] Only a visual appearance....nothing else

hhunaeh Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 looks like everything is set for austarlia to win the world cup.

thongale Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Red ball swings less initially but keeps swinging for a longer time period. And with red ball only one ball is usd per innings and spinners and reverse swing bowlers will have a better say on the proceedings. BTW, colored clothing (or similar) used in red ball cricket as well. Cab9GBSxZn4
thongale Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 and the above series is the ultimate showpiece of fast bowling from three sides full of classy pacers. Ambrose, Walsh, Wasim, Waqar, Donald and DeVilliers. Support seamers were not far behind too. Wouldn't have a similar series again I'm afraid.
