You should have seen them when Bale and Lennon were playing in both sides of the pitch. Both were lightening quick and it was awesome to watch.
Yup. That Spurs side was one of the most entertaining ones I have ever seen. Besides Bale and Lennon, Modric was another fantastic player they had.

I was referring in Euros Di Maria isnt a Great winger atleast not in his time at Madrid. He was nearly forced out last season but there were no takers. But luckily for him Sabella converted him into a CM for Argentina where he beasted. Ancelloti too decided to use him in CM as he prefers the diamond His excellent last season was from CM doubt Van Gaal would buy him for 60 to play him as winger not CM
He is a damn good winger.I have watched enough of him in real Madrid under Jose,he was immense in the 2011-12,2012-13 season and probably the second best to Ronaldo during that Time.he had the most number of assist.last season for me doesn't matter because he was used differently by Carlo, van gaal will use him as one winger and manutd desperately need pace in the wings.I was vouching was nolito or gaitan in 2011 but when u have Di Maria, why look for others

Mate football fans are hypocrites thats why. United are doing now what Chelsea PSG and City did in the past.Actually United have been doing these for years. They spent 30 mil on a defender in 2001 (Rio Ferdinand) which now with inflation will look like 60-70 mil.And frankly thats the only way if one wants success as well This is the money spent by clubs across europe in last five years (Net Spend) BvV185GIQAAJGqX.jpg And thats before the money they spent on Rojo(25 mil euros) and Dimaria (60-70 mil)
Actually in the last five years, city have net spend 367 mils,Chelsea 287 mil, manutd 106 mil,lfc 98 mils.these are for premier league side.Madrid have spent madly in the last two seasons, this pic is hard to believe. in the last decade real Madrid have net spend 800+mils,Barcelona 514 mil,Chelsea 540 mils.these three are the highest spenders of the last decades

Yup. Just one look at some of Real Madrid's players from the last few years will show the humongous amount they have spent - Ronaldo, Bale, Rodriguez, Modric, Ozil, Kaka, Di Maria, Benzema etc. Barcelona have also bought the likes of Suarez, Zlatan, Neymar, Sanchez, Fabregas, Villa etc. ManUtd is nowhere near these clubs in terms of spending obscene amounts on players every single season. And to some extent that has been a problem as well, especially since the likes of Giggs, Scholes, Rio, Vidic etc started becoming ineffective.

ot it jsut proves they plan better than united they buy super stars and sell super stars when they are still valuable and they win titles ...cannot really complain about money spending when they are spending less money (net) after buying and selling than some of other teams
