He may save even more goals in future matches with little help from their defenders (yeah they are not doing that well ATM but that can get improved if they kept winning) I think their team performance is going to get better from here as their star players have started to score and put pressure on opposite team. And if their defense get improved then definitely they can compete for top rank :agree: What why not ? It would have been another leister type game but this guy saved penalty and saved 3 world class goals ...this was his game and goal keepers have once a season game like this it does not happen everyday

It's not just forward play Chelsea did not cared just gave them ball as this is where we are most comfortable and matic supporting Cahill and terry in middle made it impossible for them to score arsenal beefed up mid field to counter ours but hazard was too good and should have scored at least one more :giggle:

Yes right now we don't look anywhere near being contenders but you never know in football.

True. But teams with weak defense have done well in the past. Blind is good, Phil Jones is capable enough of holding Ronaldo which he showed in that UCL match. Rojo was part of the WC runners up Argentina who rarely conceded goals. We are not that weak in defense as it looks..just that these guys need some time together. Team spirit can go a long way in football.

On current form of this squad, I would be happy with a top 4 finish and for the side to be completely well settled and for the youngsters to grow as players.

But his season they are not winning league and keep that smug attitude with yourself I know history well and I know how they are playing right now very well too Good team and at their best will finish top 4 next season with better defence they might start challenging again

Also Argentina did well not because of rojo alone they had players like mascherano,zabaleta and this guy was not even close to their best .. And let's forget name sin every game they are making clear errors and leaking goals and same thing happened this week but goal keeper game one of the best performance otherwise this would have ended like Leicester game and in every game until now they have played like 8 or 9 defence has been shaky and its constant problem

The defense is decent and potentially good, depends on Van Gaal and themselves how they can develop it. Attack is definitely up there with the best in the world and I think making top 4 is very achievable with such an attack.

Any decent defender will be back to his position if anything that young kid is out classing most of your defenders and that says a lot I think his name is McNair ..he is the only real bright stop at back to be very honest Let me put it this way if there was one world class defender there United would have conceded half as much as they did because from what I understand more than 1 on 1 defence is more about positioning and there is no excuse for letting opponent pass through gap like nothing no matter how new you are
