Pakistan chased the target of 322 with one ball to spare, thus completing their highest successful run-chase in ODIs, beating the previous best when they chased 316, also against India in Ahmedabad. It was the fourth time that India have failed to defend a 300-plus score in an ODI, with three of them coming against Pakistan.
