what is Indian test team main problem playing abroad

any of our 6 batsmen is not good enough to bowl 10 decent overs. it won't be a bad idea to bring in someone who can bowl decent 10 overs and bat in the top 6. primary criteria should be good enough to bat in top 6 but can roll over the arm for few overs. binnys first class average is only 35. certainly not good enough to bat in top 6. any other guy with 45+ first class batting average and bowl gentle medium in domestic circuit? this is one of our main problem apart from finding a spinner who can get wickets in overseas conditions.

The closest you can get is Rishi Dhawan, who averages 40+ with the bat and under 24 with the ball in FC cricket. But he's a proper all rounder and should be batting at no 7.

Fifth bowler need not bee a medium pacer. Even if someone can bowl decent offspin & contain for 10 overs will be more than enough. But sadly none of our top 6 can bowl 10 decent overs. Besides a medium batsman/medium pacer is useless in subcontient where we play around 50% of our cricket.

But we dont have someone who can bowl 10overs medium pace & score a 100 on a decent pitch especially since dhoni is such a hack overseas.

1, Putting middle of bat to ball when batting. 2, Keep ball in right area when bowling. 3, Fielding ball especially when its a catch in slips. 4, Setting fields when captain is Dhoni. 5, Accepting DRS which the whole world accepts. other than this India is excellent in all other areas of cricket.
