He is right they are average. Far too reliant on him and poor guy was just coming off injury. With Pepe gone, Him and Moutinho, maybe Coentrao are the only genuine world class players, the rest- especially up front , decidedly average.

Statistics show Gago and Mascherano have excellent pass distribution this tournament. Of course Mascherano is a good ball winner too. Then you have Di Maria, Higuain, Aguero, Messi..... Argentina's weakness is defense, they have a complete midfield and attack. Portugal have a complete nothing.
