b555 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Which cricket game would you recommend for pc? It has to have a good AI int he sense that it shouldnt be easy to play or too trivial to keep winning There should be at least some level of challenge level. Have been playing ea sports cricket for ages but do not feel it has the above qualities I mentioned above. (Have not tried it since last two years, so if anything has changed in the recent versions, please do recommend)
SLICKR392 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Don Bradman Cricket 14. No cricket game comes close to that!
b555 Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 Tell me more dude. Have you played it? Whats good about this?
Cricket_Hacker Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Don Bradman cricket sadly cant be played without a controller
b555 Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 And i don't have a controller dude. Can play it with keyboard?
b555 Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 Don Bradman cricket sadly cant be played without a controller sadness then. Dont want to go buying controllers :\
SLICKR392 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Check my review in the gaming thread. You will be needing a controller to play it as it the stroke making is way to versatile and precise. You need the analog stick for that, sadly. If not, the next good one is Ashes Cricket 09. Works with keyboard. Download some mode, make the AI tougher and give it a go!
CG Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 As slick said there is light years betweeen dbc and ashes cricket.Batting takes time to used to but when u score runs its truly satisfying .
b555 Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 well thats what I want. Want to feel that i am beating the AI rather than it itself being stupid well will try to get a cntroller if possible from some friends
Pagalpanti Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 well thats what I want. Want to feel that i am beating the AI rather than it itself being stupid well will try to get a cntroller if possible from some friends Look no further than DBC14 then
BlueBee Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Look no further than DBC14 then Only con is that it needs a controller.
Pagalpanti Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Only con is that it needs a controller. lol use of controller is what makes this game stand apart from the previous games It has revolutionized bowling. You just dont press some random buttons anymore. With controller(using AS) you can control speed of the run up, increase/decrease revs on ball by spinners and also pacers can bowl close/away from stumps.
SLICKR392 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I still struggle in batting. :giggle: Gazillions of shots to chose from and you can't go wamn bamn on this game. Need to dig in and hit the bad ones away.

Need to dig in and hit the bad ones away. I have heard that batting is incredibly difficult in this game on YouTube ( havent played it yet :(( ) as compared to other cricket games.

Need to dig in and hit the bad ones away. you can. you just need to outthink AI. I did it in 5 over matches scored 48. In Odi it looks difficult though.

Agree but it would've been better if we could've used a keyboard for it too. Not everyone has a controller
SLICKR392 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Agree but it would've been better if we could've used a keyboard for it too. Not everyone has a controller Its not possible with a keyboard. Unless you have an analog stick in it.
BlueBee Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Its not possible with a keyboard. Unless you have an analog stick in it. I gotta buy this game.
